Reddit Shadowban. What is it? And what you can do with it?

Are you a redditor or to be exact a shadowbanned redditor? 🙂
If you come across my article here likely it’s either you are purely curious or you got your Reddit account banned or shadowbanned.
Am I Getting banned/Shadowbanned on Reddit?
It’s pretty easy to know if you are getting fully banned. You will no longer be able to login and post to Reddit. But if you are getting shadowbanned, it’s a bit unique: You can still login to Reddit, you can also still post new article or reply, however you won’t get any reply.
Do you notice lately you didn’t get any responses for any post you created or answered despite the great articles or replies you have posted? Well, likely you are getting shadowbanned and you are not alone my friend – as I’m also getting shadowbanned recently and thus posting this article for everyone to know and to resolve.
WTF is shadowbanned?
Shadowbanned is a type of Reddit ban in which your ID is still exists but it’s kind of being frozen. You can still post new articles and replies but actually your posts are all withheld and not shown to public. Don’t believe me? Try to logout from Reddit and as anonymous, go and search for your newly posted articles and/or replies. You can’t find them, do you? If you can’t find them then yes it’s confirmed that you are getting shadowbanned.
Checking if you are shadowbanned
This is the official way: to post “Am I shadowbanned?” under ShadowBan subreddit.
However, posting above shall require some time for the bot to check your Reddit ID and give reply. In case you can’t really wait, you can use the other method which I found after digging around, there’s apparently 3rd party website (I guess) which you can check your Reddit account status. It will tell you whether you are active, shadowbanned or banned.
For all Subreddit rules, do visit each subreddit you are subscribing, since different Subreddit has different rules.
What you can do to un-ban your Reddit account?
This will work only for Shadowbanned Reddit account.
Submit your appeal and apologies to Reddit mod here and pray the mod will release the ban for you. Until then, you can post but your post won’t appear on the Reddit page and nobody except you know and read your posts/replies.
Contact the Reddit administrator here to post your apologies, asked what you did wrong, and ask to un-ban your Reddit ID. Good luck!
Worst case is to create a new Reddit account and start over.
