If your Nintendo Switch is running Atmosphere + HBMenu, this article will explain how you can see your game screenshots taken during game.
On normal & standard Nintendo Switch, you can take screenshot on the running game simply by pressing the Capture button. Depends on which Nintendo Switch you are using, but Capture button is:
- located on Left Joy-Con on Nintendo Switch
- located below the +Control Pad on Nintendo Switch Lite
On normal & standard Nintendo Switch (or Switch Lite), once you screen captured the game, you can see the screenshots taken from just by do this:
1) Go to Nintendo Switch Home screen
2) Then choose “Album” – the 3rd menu from the left.
You should be able to see all your game screenshots collections.
However, that’s not the case for any Nintendo Switch running Atmosphere. When you try to open Album, what you see is the HBMenu. So how Nintendo Switch running Atmosphere can see the screenshots?

1) Go to Nintendo Switch Home screen
2) Hold “R” button, then choose “Album” – the 3rd menu from the left.
If you do it correctly, you should now access the Nintendo Switch album instead of going into HBMenu.
