WWDC 2023 has happened back on Mon 5-June-2023. As usual with every WWDC event, Apple announced and introduced, you guess right, the new iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. So, without further ado, here are the full list of iPhone and iPad getting the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.
These are full list of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 compatible devices.
In case you are looking for full list of devices compatible with iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, here they are.

Here are list of devices running iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 that are no longer getting updates for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17
These are the list. If you happen to own one of these devices, starting this year, your devices won’t get iOS and iPadOS updates anymore.

It’s so unfortunate that Apple left iPhone X – the first device with $999 price tag and the first device that introduced new full-screen form factor with Face ID – although initially I had hope that Apple would extend iPhone X life like how it extends iPhone 6S series (6 times iOS updates as compared to 5 times iOS updates for iPhone X) but it is what it is.
Bring it all together
So, are your iPhone and iPad compatible with the new iOS 17 and iPadOS 17? Hopefully they are. At the time this article is written, both iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 have not been released as public beta, once they are released as public beta, I’ll cover more on their new features.
