iPhone owners: Reason why you should disable Control Center from iPhone Lock screen

iOS 12 iPhone hacked jilaxzone.com

Every iPhone and iOS devices are potentially at risk of getting HACKED

Act now!

All iPhone comes with Control Center. Inside Control Center, you can turn on and off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular Data and Airplane mode.

Now, the reason why you should disable Control Center from being able to be accessed from iPhone Lock screen is to prevent your iPhone to be switched to Airplane mode and/or gets its Cellular Data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection switched off by someone who can’t unlock the iPhone.

Access to Control Center means access to your Airplane Mode, Cellular Data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

So when either your naughty siblings or friends try to hide your iPhone away from you or real thief who steal the iPhone from you, they can’t switch on Airplane mode nor switch off Cellular Data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth from Control Center without first unlocking the iPhone. I do agree that disabling Control Center from the iPhone Lock screen won’t 100% prevent your iPhone from getting hidden or stolen and will not guarantee 100% that you’ll get your iPhone back should it lost or stolen, but it will bump the percentage up of finding your lost or stolen iPhone.

Here’s how to disable Control Center from iPhone Lock screen

Here are the steps, to be done on your iPhone:

1) Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode for iPhone with Face ID, or go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode for iPhone with Touch ID.

2) Key in your passcode when prompted.

3) Inside Face ID (or Touch ID) & Passcode page, scroll down and find “Control Center”.

4) Switch off “Control Center” to disable it from being accessed from Lock screen.

That’s it.

Bring it all together

Like I said, while it won’t 100% guarantee you’ll get back your lost iPhone, but certainly it will bump up the percentage of finding your lost iPhone. Whoever get his hand on your lost iPhone, it will make them a little bit harder to erase trace of the device. Act now. Don’t delay, otherwise you’ll be sorry.

Caveat: Your lost iPhone can still be powered off and/or get its SIM ejected, but when your lost iPhone powered back on or inserted a new SIM, you can track it via Find My iPhone.
