How to make use of iPhone fast charging feature
These are the steps you need to do to make use of the iPhone fast charging feature.
1) Ensure you have the supported iPhone models that support fast charging feature

2) Use fast-charging supported charging cable
Fast charging on supported iPhone models works when you use an Apple (or other brands MFi certified) USB-C to Lightning cable. In case you don’t have one, here’s the link to get it.

3) Use fast-charging supported Power Adapter / Wall Plug
Don’t charge your iPhone to your Mac or Computer if you are looking to use the fast charging feature, but instead use the supported Power Adapter and wall plugs.
Here are list of supported wall plugs and power adapters
- Apple 18W, 20W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, or 96W USB-C Power Adapter
- A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)
Do note that iPhone 12 or newer requires at least the 20W Power Adapter for fast charging.
In case you don’t have any supported Power Adapter and wall plugs, here’s the link to get it.
On Amazon:

4) Plug the charging cable to your iPhone then to your Power Adapter
Last but not least is to plug the charging cable, the lightning connector to your iPhone and the other end to your Power Adapter, then plug the Power Adapter to your electric socket.
That’s it. There’s no option to set or configure on your iPhone. There also won’t be any indicator that your iPhone is actually making use of the fast charging feature. One thing you can do is to set timer for half an hour and see if your iPhone battery get charged at least to 50% within half an hour. If it does, then congrats. You have just made use of the iPhone fast charging feature.
Bring it all together
So now you know another great feature available on your iPhone, so be sure to make use this fast charging feature so that you get the best maximum iPhone experience.
