Wanted to select all photos on your iPhone Camera Roll? Unfortunately, even on the latest iOS – iOS 16, Apple still have not built-in the Select All feature into the Photos app, but that doesn’t mean the end of the world – because I have the simple workaround how you can quickly select all photos in Camera Roll. Here’s how you can do it.

Here’s how you can select all photos on iPhone Photos app

Follow the simple steps below.

1) Open Photos app

On your iPhone Home screen, open Photos app. Then go to Albums tab, and select Recents.

On Photos app, go to Albums > Recents

2) Select the last photo

Inside Recents, tap “Select” to enable select mode.
Then select your last photo with one of your fingers.

3) Move your finger straight up to other photos

Using the same finger, move your finger up to other photos straight above the last photo.
You have to do step 2 and 3 without stopping, otherwise your finger will activate 3D Touch or Haptic Touch. If you do step 2 and 3 correctly, your finger should now select multiple photos and iPhone screen keep scrolling up, revealing more and more photos to be selected.

4) Tap the iPhone time using other finger

While moving your finger up, using another finger tap on the top left of the screen where the iPhone time is located. My recommendation is to use your finger from the other hand.

5) All Photos are now selected

Yes, it just happened. If you do the steps correctly, you should now select (almost) all of your photos. In case there are still a few photos left behind, just select them manually since the rest are pretty much selected.

Voila. The rest is up to you, either you want to delete them or copy them or whatever things you want to do with your photos.

Bring it all together

I just show you how you can quickly select all photos and videos stored on your iPhone. Let me know if it’s not working for you. In case you encountered any difficulties and/or have queries, don’t hesitate to put your queries or thoughts on the comment section down below. I’ll be happy to assist.
