Do bigger things. That’s the tagline of the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In short, it’s official now. Whatever the leaks we saw last time were indeed true. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is pretty much similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 with bigger form factor, S-Pen and dual camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications
Color
Available in midnight black, orchid gray (purple-ish) and Maple gold
Screen Size
Full HD+ 6.3″ Infinity Display with 521 pixel per inch (ppi) and 18.5 : 9 ratio which translates to sharper and wider view.
Processor
There are 2 variants:
1) Exynos 8895 Octa CPU with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU – Europe, Middle East and Africa (and South Korea)
2) Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU with Adreno 540 GPU – USA and Asia
Apart from Processor, there are also 2 variants:
1) Single SIM variant with dedicated MicroSD card slot.
2) Dual SIM variant with MicroSD card slot interchangeable with SIM Card slot.
At this point of time, I am unsure whether in total there’s going to be 4 variants (Exynos Single SIM, Exynos Dual SIM, Snapdragon Single SIM, Snapdragon Dual SIM) or just 2 variants (whatever the combinations). So take note when you pre-order or purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
