Getting Healthy is so rewarding in Singapore – Get min $35 from Healthy 365 app
Healthy is rewarding, that’s the latest campaign from HPB, short for Health Promotion Board – Singapore governmental organisation for promoting health – has for its residences. With the Healthy 365 App (download link below), you can track your daily steps as well as can get reward real dollars from it, this time is minimal $35 in total. Yes, real dollars. Interested? Continue to read then.
Who can join?
Everybody who lives, stays and/or works in Singapore can join the programme. That includes Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Residences, and Pass holders. If you live outside Singapore then you can’t. I am hoping other countries to have similar programme as well.
How to join and get the reward?
Simple. But one of the requirements is to have smartphone based on iOS or Android.
For those with compatible smartphones: You need to download Health 365 app (download link below) from Apple App Store or Google Play, then register yourself to it.

What you need to do to get the reward?
To get the rewards, basically you need to join the challenge and get actives. The Healthy 365 app requires you to walk 10,000 steps a day. Seems like a huge number but in fact it’s not that big. On average, for me, going back and forth from home to MRT to office, lunch, office, then MRT to home is around 7,000 to 8,000 steps, in which yours is more or less the same too.
So in order to achieve 10,000 steps, I just need to do extra steps, extra activities, such as opting to take staircases instead of using lift or elevator, or jogging after office hours. You can do the same too.
National Steps Challenge Season 2 has started
So this is the challenge you need to join: National Steps Challenge Season 2.
1st October 2016 marked the day the National Steps Challenge season 2 started. If you haven’t joined, please do join to get the rewards for getting healthier.
Here’s how to join the National Steps Challenge:
- Open Healthy 365 App, make sure you are registered already
- In case you haven’t chose the mode of tracking, go to Apps menu, then choose the tracker you would like to use
- Go to Challenge, choose the ‘National Steps Challenge Season 2 Progress’ and join.
That’s it.
The rewards:
Once you have joined the challenge, accumulate the health points to exchange it with real dollars gifts. these are the rewards you can get:
Tier | Points Required | Rewards |
1 | 600 | From $5 |
2 | additional 1800 | From $10 |
3 | additional 1200 | From $5 |
4 | additional 1200 | From $5 |
5 | additional 1200 | From $5 |
6 | additional 1200 | From $5 |
Total | 7200 | Min $35 |
Why minimal $35? It’s because, like season 1, I believe in Season 2, the rewards for each tier will not be fixed to one choice of reward, but have some choices to choose from, such as Supermarket voucher, gym voucher, spa voucher, etc in which some of them may have higher value, for example if Supermarket voucher is worth $5, the gym and spa voucher may worth $10-$20 in value.
How to get Points:
The rewards are given based on how many points you have accumulated for. In order to get points, each and every day you have target of 10,000 steps. For each checkpoints, you’ll get points. Here’s the checkpoint and the points rewards:
Steps | Total Steps in one day | Points Rewarded |
First 5,000 steps | 5,000 | 15 points |
Next 2,500 steps | 7,500 | additional 30 points |
Next 2,500 steps | 10,000 | additional 15 points |
Total | 10,000 | 60 points |
Special for Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Residents

For Pass Holders
Don’t get sad. You are not left alone. You can get the tracker from HPB as well, although it won’t be FREE. Alternatively you can use any trackers or health apps compatible with Apple HealthKit, FitBit, S Health, etc. Check the compatibility within the Healthy 365 app.
The Verdict
Getting healthy is never so rewarding like this. If you are staying, working, living in Singapore, why not joining? It’s totally FREE and almost effortless – you need to walk each and every day anyway and get the reward in the end.

Excellent blog you have here.. It’s hard to find quality writing like yours nowadays. I honestly appreciate people like you! Take care!!
I am writing on behalf of my colleague. I am helping her to set up the tracker to start the challenge. I chose Careeach and there are two models appears on the her mobile: WP-808-0242 and WP-808-4DF2. My colleague tracker shows ver 1.2 0242. I click on WP-808-0242 and the message said that it has been linked into another account. I click WP-808-4DF2 and it has the same message . What does that mean? I am unable to syn the steps. My colleague does not have an email account in the Healthy 365 profile.
Kindly assists.
Thanks.
Hi May Tan,
Thanks for writing here. I do believe your colleague issue is because her tracker was used on other mobile phone in the past.
Try to do this:
1. Try to uninstall and re-install the Healthy 365 app
2. Resetup the profile
3. Resync the tracker
Hopefully it will work on her case. Let me know. Thanks.
