Guess what? The most precious assets of all to human kind, to you and to me is Time.
And unlike those precious earthly assets and commodities I mentioned before, every person in this world has time – as long as one is still alive. And unlike other assets and commodities I mentioned earlier, every person is given the same time: 365.25 days a year, 24 hours a day, 60 minutes per hour, 60 seconds per minute.

Time is not only the most precious commodity but it also has its own uniqueness as the most-est precious asset. You cannot buy, add, extend time despite billions of money you have, hundreds of millions-dollar house you have, thousand luxury cars you have and trillions of dollars worth of stocks you have with you. So either you are damn rich or you are damn poor, you will still have the same 365.25 days a year, 24 hours a day, 60 minutes per hour, 60 seconds per minute.

Do you know why rich wealthy people take their private jets when they are going for business trip or vacation?
See U.S President Donald Trump before he become U.S President, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Bill Gates of Microsoft, Warren Buffet – the most wealthiest and successful U.S investor, and recently Tim Cook of Apple.
Some of them are indeed showing off their richness and wealthiness by taking private jets when going abroad, while other reasons is for their own safety and privacy. But actually it’s not just about showing off, safety and privacy. Most of them are doing it to save their most precious asset and commodity: TIME.
By taking their own private jets instead of commercial airlines, guess what? They can skip the 2-hour waiting period at Airport. While the 2-hour waiting period for most of us – including me – is meant nothing than just waiting at the Airport, shopping, eating, playing games. But to these rich and wealthy people who are taking private jets, with extra 2 hours they have (because they don’t need to be in the airport 2 hours before) they can work, make decisions, or make another dents that probably going to change the fate of the rest of the world.

Forget about private jets, they are too damn a luxury for most of us. Why certain people take taxi and not normal train and bus?
While taking combination of train and bus are going to get you to your destination within 1 hour, taking taxi – though – it’s much more expensive, but taxi could get you much faster, say half an hour, to your destination. And some people like to take taxi though they are much more expensive. Apart from they probably has more money than us, they value their time. By arriving to destination half an hour earlier, these people make use of their time to do something more meaningful.
Now why do you think your Boss hire you? Purely for your skills and your smartness? Think again.
First of all, yes it’s because you have the skills that your Boss needs with you and you do it smartly. But that’s not again the real reason. The real reason your Boss hire you is to free his time, so while you do all the ground works – whatever that is -, at the same time, your Boss can make use of the time he manage to set free (because he hired you to do his works) to do something bigger, something more valuable.
Why your client picks you? Because you are good or cheap? Think again.
As an entrepreneur yourself, you must be happy if you can score the deals with the clients. They choose you because either you are good and got the name for it, or you are cheaper compare to other competitors or both. But then again, that’s not the real reason why your clients picked you.
