All this time, when you need to WhatsApp message someone you just get his/her number is first by adding his/her number into your Contacts/phone book. Only then the person will appear on your WhatsApp contact list. Without adding them into your phone contacts/phone book, there’s no way to WhatsApp message him/her – unless they send a message to you firsthand.
Now with the tip I’m going to share with you, you can WhatsApp message any person who are not on your contact list yet and without adding them into your phone Contact / phone book. Here’s how.
Here’s how to send messages on WhatsApp without saving phone number
Follow the simple steps below and you’ll never need to add anybody (you don’t like or one-timer) into your phone Contact/Phone book just to send WhatsApp messages to them.
Step 1) Get/copy the number.
Get or copy the number you wish to WhatsApp message but without adding the number into your Contact / Phone book.
Step 2) Open Browser / Note taking app.
Open any browser (such as Google Chrome or Apple Safari or any other browser) / any note taking app (such as Notes, Google Keep or anything that can be used for note taking).
Step 3) Type the following format: wa.me/<country code><phone number>
Type in the browser URL or in the note, the following format:
|If the person you are contacting is having US mobile number (415) 555-0132, then type in the following format||wa.me/14155550132|
|If the person you are contacting is having UK mobile number 07123 456 789, then type in the following format||wa.me/447123456789|
Step 4) Hit Enter and tap on “Continue to Chat”.
Once you have written in the specified format, hit Enter on your phone keyboard. It will then redirect you to https://api.whatsapp.com and shown you “Open WhatsApp. Chat on WhatsApp with <country code><phone number>.” and “Continue to Chat” button.
In case, the page doesn’t redirect you directly to your WhatsApp, tap on “Continue to Chat” to force redirection to your WhatsApp.
Once redirected successfully, you should now be able to start a chat with the person without adding/storing his/her number on your Contact app / Phone book.
Bring it all together
With the tip shared above, you should now be able to contact anyone without first saving their phone number into your phone Contacts/phone book.
